Beta Program Kick-off Messaging

A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step, so why not start your program with significant kick off messaging?

Beta program acceptance can happen quite some time before the actual start of the program and many things could have come in your contacts' lives and vied for their attention. Sending out strong messaging on when the beta actually goes live and providing resources to assist can help ensure you remain top of mind.

This automation sends off messages in two channels, sms and email, to let contacts know the program has started and generate excitement at your new feature. The automation is kicked off by a date based trigger set to a custom field containing your start date.

Here's how this automation works:
1. The contact enters the automation when the date in their custom date field for beta start date is reached.
2. The contact is sent an email letting them know the beta is live.
3. The contact then reaches a send sms action and is sent an sms letting them know the beta is live now.

Note: You will need to build out the custom date field for the beta start date before importing the automation. You could populate the beta start date from our recipe "Beta Program: Add Trackable Dates".
